It's not everyday you listen to a 'goal-setting'
motivation speech that draws on Skydiving ... Stranded Starfish
... and Saint Francis of Assisi as motivators to help you to
define and achieve your goals.
But this one works, for the very simple reason that it calls
on so many unlikely motivation sources to prove a very simple
point: '... the footprints in the sands of time, were not made
by people who stood still!'
When I first heard this speech I couldn't help nodding my head
in agreement with each of the points made. Neither could I help
smiling at the sheer simplicity of the stories I was listening
too.
But do you want to know something? ... I've never forgotten
it! And that means ... it's very good!
