This is the speech for you, if you are the person retiring
and you want to thank everybody for all the good times
and happy memories that you have gained from working
in this company. Of course you will have one or two
little stories of your own, and words of thanks to special
colleagues, that you will want to include in your speech
and I have carefully left space for these stories and
suggested how they can be worked into your speech. I’ve
included a whimsical little story about looking ahead
to the future, taking things as they come and not expecting
miracles. And I’ve ended up with a few reflective
lines from ‘The Pilgrim’s Progress’.
All and all, it’s a grateful, reflective and amusing
speech that will leave everybody with good feelings.
